Tired of waiting for your brushes to dry after washing them? Wait no more! Introducing the revolutionary Sigma Beauty Dry’n Shape system! The Dry’n Shape was designed to completely dry and shape your most dense brushes within 4 to 6 hours, guaranteed.
The Dry’n Shape provides the necessary pressure to bristles to quickly and efficiently remove water from every fibre. The fabric used to shape the bristles was specially engineered to accelerate water evaporation, resulting in a faster drying time for your brushes.
The Dry’n Shape is an easy, quick, and effective way to quickly dry and shape your makeup brushes. Follow these three easy steps for best results:
STEP 1:
Wash your brushes using a mild shampoo or brush cleanser.
STEP 2:
Gently press the bristles to remove any excess water. Place the clean, damp brushes into the Dry’n Shape using the smallest band the brush will fit into. Make sure that all bristles are firmly compressed.
STEP 3:
Wait 4 to 6 hours and your brushes will be completely dry and ready to use! In addition to being completely dry, the bristles will be reshaped to their original form. Your brushes will be perfect for your makeup application!
You now have a convenient option to wash and use your brushes as often as you’d like!
This is the post that I promised you when I am doing my review on Sigma F15 duo fibre brush
In this post I will be comparing Sigma F15 Duo Fibre Blush / Powder Brush and MAC Duo Fibre 131 brush…. Dr. Makeup Temple has 2 patients on the operation table today..
We will be talking pluses and minus of these two patients today…
1-) MAC 131 has shorten handle than Sigma F15
2) Sigma F15 has wider but shorter bristles
3-) MAC 131 has longer but
4-) Sigma F15 has flat bristles
5-)Sigma F15 handle is thicker than MAC 131
6-) Sigma F15 gives us an easy application comparing to MAC 131
7-) MAC 131 is not bad but Sigma F15 is better for foundation
8-)They both do not leave bristles on face
9-)Both MAC 131 Duo Fibre brush and Sigma F15 does not leave any streak marks like MAC 187 and Sigma F50 or other Duo Fibre Brushes..
10-) I can only say one negative thing about Sigma Brushes, I am talking on the Sigma Brushes I have and generally after a certain use and wash they fall apart from the handle, and i used super glue on one of the brushes, now I seriously do not remember which one for sure but as far as I remember it was Sigma F50
11-) If you ask me Sigma F15 or MAC 131 I will definitely say Sigma F15, If I say Sigma F15 than why did I purchase MAC 131 it is because I do not like to use just one brush in one brand, I would not know which one is better if i did not use both two. MAC 131 is not bad, they are at the same quality but at this time I like Sigma F15, both of the brushes has been purchased by myself.
12-)MAC 131 Duo Fibre Brush Cost 40 USD and was a limited edit brush, Sigma F15 is not a limited edit brush on and it costs
13-) MAC 131 is good at applying highly pigmented products, pigments, glitters, NARS Orgasm Blushes, Dark or Red CC, or dark foundations which is used by pros on contouring and highlighting , cream blend foundations, cream blushes
14-) I generally us MAC 131 with liquid highlighters, like Soap & Glory Hocus Focus.
15-) Try mixing your loose bronzer and Liquid Highlighter than apply with using MAC 131 or Sigma F15 you will be amazed…
16-) It is easier to clean these two brushes, I usually wash them with a baby shampoo, I tried to use brush shampoos in past but those shampoos is not really helpful when cleaning up makeup brushes and it leaves a strange scent on the brushes which gives me a nausea, at the end a regular baby shampoo is inexpensive and it is for sensitive skin so it will not give any harm to your brushes.. I am totally against washing your brushes with detergents, Detergents are carcinogen and baby shampoos are not.
17-) On my latest post I gave you the dupe list for MAC 131 but I do not mind mentioning it again
This is one Sigma makeup’s new brushes, It is a duo fibre brush, It says it is for powder and blush, but I prefer to use it as a foundation brush..
I also use this brush for applying MCC, Nars Cream Blushes
The fibres are soft and it is easy to apply any kind of cream products although it is more easy to use cream products with their Kabuki brushes..
Because it is a duo fibre brush it is much more easy to apply foundation if I have to compare it with MAC 190 or Sigma Foundation brush.
This is not a must have brush for beginners but for the collectors or for the people like me who likes to try new things than go for it,
I always take my sigma brushes with me When I am travelling because If I loose or dropped it or forget it somewhere I will not get very sad, it is affordable I can always replace it, but I do not like to take MAC brushes with me, it is expensive and not everybody can afford it, best to use it at home for my self rather than somebody nicks it or I forget it somewhere.
I have good quality brushes but I did not buy them at once, I bought one brush at a time, and It took me long time to buy the brushes I want to so they are very precious for me..
I sometimes use it mixing my powder bronzer and liquid highlighter and apply to my face as highlighter bronzer
It is actually multi talented brush, it blends loose powders, loose blushes great.
This is also an exact dupe of MAC 131 brush
I will soon be posting on MAC 131 brush and than it will be followed by a comparisson post between MAC 131 and Sigma F15
This is a makeup brush which is designed for flawless makeup
You can use this brush for powder to liquid products.
I personally use this for liquid foundations, creamy products just makes the hairs to go bad, if you have heavy hands like me, I mean I personally prefer this for liquid products
The hairs are super soft, and sometimes I feel ticklish
This so much better than duo fibre brush
It is easy to use, it does not leave any marks on yours face
Yeah it absolves the product but this brush is one of the best brushes I have used
This brush can take place of MAC 180 which is discontinued long time ago
This one of the three Sigma HD Brushes
I fell in love with these three brushes as soon as I received an email from Sigma about their upcoming products, and I purchased these 3 brushes within a week.
These are short handled , if i said short handled do not compare it with MAC Short handled brushes. Only the handles are short handled than regular Sigma Brushes.
The handle is pretty strong, it wont be breaking apart from the metal part,
Also also the bristles do not pull out , so you will not be finding brush hairs on your face after you finish your makeup.
I am amazed with the softness, and how it makes easy to wear any kind of foundation, even in small areas.
I usually use this brush on my jaw line, if i am using a darker foundation to make contours
It works perfectly as a concealer brush under the eyes
I use it on my nose and chin.
It works perfectly as a concealer and foundation brush.
It works perfectly with liquid foundations,
But I find it a bit hard while I am using my MAC Pro Long Wear Foundation and Studio Fix Fluid.
It might be because they are not thin layered, they are a bit thicker than normal foundations, although Pro Long Wear supposed to be thinner than Studio Fix Fluid
You can buy this brush alone or as a set of 3
I bought it as set. So it is a part of 3 HD Brushes
Also one other thing I noticed about Sigma Brushes, they started to engrave the brush name to the handle, on the old Sigma Brushes it was painted / stamped
I also find it very difficult to clean the HD Brushes, You need to wash it a lot to clean it properly
But I find a good solution for this I clean my brushes with mild baby oil after each use.
I sometimes use my brushes wet to blend the foundation easily, i simply use glycerine based solution
Or either spray that solution to my face, and than apply my foundation with one of these brushes..
When I am writing my reviews I do my best to give you detailed pictures, close up photos, so that you can see the actual pictures. colour of the products,
And when it comes to make up brushes take an important place in our lives, not the brand but the quality is important, many of us we do not have a MAC, NARS etc counter close to us we order online, and when we get the brushes at our hands the result might be not be what we expect,
I bought these brushes few months ago, I loved the flat Kabuki which reminded me Sonia Kashuk Kabuki Brush
Actually Sigma Beauty is doing really well on this Brush business, they are getting better and creative as they made good place in beauty business.
Their prices are quite reasonable if we compare it with other competitors in the makeup. cosmetics business,
I wish they did charge less for shipping
Sigma F84 Angled Kabuki is one of the Synthetic Brushes of Sigma
I love this angled kabuki, it is ideal for highlighters, contour powders, cream blushes, cream foundations, like Chanel Soleil De Tan, Loreal Matte Morphose foundation , Loreal True Match Roll On, Dior Skin Nude Compact Gel, Dior SkinNude, Dior SkinForever, Lancome ABSOLUE TEINT SPF20, Maybelline Dream Moss Foundation and Bronzer, Max Factor Miracle Touch Foundation etc.
They are multi purpose brushes.
The brushes don’t bleed and handles are very strong if we compare it with other Sigma Brushes
Also handles are medium handled it will give you more control on your makeup application.
