“On vacation, you can wear all the colorful and casual clothing that you like, but you must always be elegant,” said Christian Dior. Inspired by the art de vivre of the French Riviera, the Dior Croisette Collection combines the peace of the French countryside with the splendour of Saint Tropez. These locations have always been a prolific source of inspiration for Christian Dior. From Dior’s first swimsuit collections and seaside fashion creations in the Fifties to the current Cruise Collections, the French Riviera also embodies the brand’s most daring, fresh and colorful lines today.
Between the shimmering turquoise of the Mediterranean Sea and the sparkling gold of the sand, through soft coral and bikini pink, the Croisette reveals all its elegance and optimism in sunny and aquatic-inspired shades. The skin is warmed up and illuminated in a natural glow effect, while the eyes are dressed up with luminescent sunny shades or fresh azure blues. The lips are colorful and subtly sparkling while the nails complete the look with coral and blue shades inspired by the most glamorous emblems of the French Riviera. Available April/May 2012.
Dior presents the "Dior Croisette" eyewear collection: the 2012 Summer Statement. Art is the inspiration for
the new sunglasses and optical frames, precisely from the artistic style of René Gruau: the famous artist and
illustrator who worked with the Maison Dior in the 40’s and 50’s, creating Dior's iconic imagery.
His illustrations are duplicated in eyewear thanks to bright and graphic new dedicated acetates: crystal &
coloured horizontal stripes in exclusivity.

Christian Dior once worked as a gallerist and kept art close to his heart throughout his career as a visionary couturier. In tribute to this history, Dior has collaborated with German artist Anselm Reyle to create the limited edition Anselm Reyle for Dior Eyeshadow PaletteThis striking palette features a camouflage pattern in shades of silver, grey, charcoal and violet. In addition, there will be five limited edition Reyle-inspired shades of Dior Vernis available: Ultra Violet, Pink Graffiti, Electric Blue, Metallic Silver and Untitled Black.
Anselm Reyle was born in Tübingen, Germany in 1970 and currently lives and works in Berlin. Reyle’s stripe paintings are instantly recognizable as responses to the formalist vocabulary of Clement Greenberg that defined the art of the 1950s and 1960s. Reyle references iconic abstractionists ranging from Kenneth Noland to Otto Freundlich. Reyle’s “objets trouvés,” a reference to his multi-media installations that include sculpture and found neon lights, are in constant dialogue about the role of modernism today. He is one of few contemporary German painters examining the lessons of abstraction and their place in contemporary painting at a moment when figurative painting has gained critical momentum.
The palette and Vernis shades are part of a larger Anselm Reyle accessories collection—featuring bags, shoes, and jewelry—which will launch worldwide as well in January. Reyle immersed himself in the heart of Dior and was given cart blanche in the design process. He played with colors, shaking up the codes of the mythical Avenue Montaigne Couture House, which offered all its savoir-faire to serve its imagination.
“Most of my work builds on object that already exist, which I then transform. I applied the same philosophy.” — Anselm Reyle

The collection itself repeats several "codes" of the fashion house - is Rose (theme house of Christian Dior in Granville continues to exaggerate), The shades are typically spring shades, lots of pinks, lilies and greys.
Star and Star-product collection – is the eye shadow palettes. 5 Colours Palette which also comes in two versions of Garden Edition. Both limited edition both decorated with flowers and lace-embossed, As you all know I am great fan of pinks and greens.
The clutch is reinvented in with the Garden Party spirit in mind. Featuring a glossy light pink leather-like shell, adorned with a woven pattern & sealed by a “Rosebud” clasp and makeup must-haves for eyes and lips. Inside is a trio of delicate rose-embossed eye shadows, one shade of Dior Ultra-Gloss and one Lip Maximizer. Available in two colourways: Milly Garden (Nordstrom and Dior.com Exclusive, and Granville Garden (not at Nordstrom).
I would find a way to depot all the eye shadow in the clutch and after I will clean-up the bag gently and use it as a small clutch bag when going out for dinning
We will be having two nice shades of purple and green as a nail polish, as we can see from Dior mint green shades on nail polishes are still trendy as it was last summer
And This season Dior’s Nail Polishes are fragranced, they smell like roses.
Purples we all have purple shades in our nail polish drawers, so if you do not have here is a chance to grab one for you.
Blush Rosy Glow :It reminds me pink roses
I assume it will work with lighter skinned girls, obviously not on a girl who has olive under tones like me. : (
but you can use it as a highlighter if you so wish to buy, I am saying this to the darker skinned girls.
Lip - Dior Addict Ultra Gloss, sheen, giving instant volume. Dior Rouge lipstick with an updated formula for bright colours.
And even a little bit of news. Almost simultaneously with the collection (which comes to us on 2nd of January), the brand will launch two interesting things. First - tweezers mascara. type-plates mascara with a spring, which heats up and gives lashes a form.
