The makeup made more of a statement with the focus being the loud mouths. International makeup artist Lucia Pica, using MAC, told us the clothing was about "disco granny tweed!" so the makeup offered a contrasting look. The hot red lips were very defined but rounded and had a 3D effect thanks to the layering technique she used. First MAC Cherry lip pencil was applied, then the classic Ruby Woo lipstick, followed by a mixture of glosses on top to lend the look some youthfulness.
Nails weren't neglected. Cool nail artist Sophy Robson came up with "the new French" - a manicure that had dark tips going right down the side of each nail. The three colours sported by the girls were ‘neon orange patent', ‘dark blue patent' and ‘tiger stripes' - all matching the eclectic clothing that was displayed.
