Introducing The Garden, OCC’s S/S 2012 Colour Collection. Spring has sprung at OCC and hidden among the lilacs and pansies is a different shade of floral. Inspired by psychotropic and poisonous plants, this collection turns traditional spring pastels upside down, injecting them with hallucinatory notes of nearly-neon vibrancy. Mixed in are more subtle neutral lip shades, meant to be paired with a dizzying flash of color on the eyes, in this garden of earthly (and unearthly) delights.

Who says makeup is only for girls? From David Bowie and Boy George to Adam Lambert, Jared Leto and today’s crop of glam rockers, the impact men have made on the art of makeup is one that still resonates through the present day and boys keep swinging!

Pretty Boy, OCC’s new Fall/Winter 2011 Colour Collection, takes its inspiration from these artists and performers to present a palette created to empower all genders to express themselves with colour.

The creative process began backstage at the Fall/Winter 2011 Collections where the runways were littered with brightly coloured makeup including intense neons and saturated pastels, not typical of what to expect from makeup trends meant for the later months of the year. At BESS NY, under the direction of Makeup Artist Vincent Oquendo, male and female models alike took to the runway in bold neon lips, multi-colored eyes and with some literally covered head-to-toe in glitter. At Eva Minge, Makeup Artist Kristi Matamoros created a look that showcased almost-neon red lips, and at Logan Neitzel, Makeup Artist Victor Henao’s look featured a graphic green/black eye makeup look that made models of both sexes look equally mysterious and androgynous.

OCC’s take on the trend features 6 new intense shades of Lip Tar, alongside new Nail Lacquers, Loose Colours, Pure Pigment powders (a pro favorite!) and Glitter to finish off the look with a bold and dramatic flourish.  Available

LO-FI: SPRING/SUMMER 2011

OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE COSMETICS is proud to present our S/S 2011 Colour Collection, OCC LO-FI. A polarizing reaction to the HD makeup craze, OCC encourages makeup artists and enthusiasts alike to shrug off the scrutiny and bring it back to basics, with a palette of resolute shades that bring rack focus back to the wearer. This selection six new Lip Tars, Loose Colours and Nail Lacquers does just that, in a strong and fearless fashion.

The collection reflects S/S 2011 runways trends that featured either sharply defined eyes and neutral lips, or bold, bright lips and barely-there washes of colour on the eyes. Colours from this collection were born backstage at Spring 2011 collections for designers including Diego Binetti, Eva Minge, Althea Harper and Mik Cire during New York Fashion Week. With a shade spectrum this bold, the colour combinations you can create are endless.

i have never seen a lip tar, lip gloss or a lip stick stays this much longer before, after all those coffee, tea, lunch it was still on my lips as bright as before,
it sounds unbelievable i know, but it really it stays longer like a long lasting lipstick , all you need is a lip brush get just a tiny amount of gloss apply it and go,




 

I am not sure how to describe this eye colour, it looks light lilac in the jar,  but when you apply it is whitish pink.
it is iridescent as well

i recommend you to use this shadow with a tapered brush, it is more easy to apply,

As an animal lover, i am glad to tell you that OCC is cruel free and vegetarian
I am not a veggie but i am happy to know that OCC is vegetarian

with this colour Lime I could not get the colour i wanted alone or with a primer
i used only small amount of shiseido hydra power eye shadow in H7 and than applied the loose eye colour in Lime on top of it. You can do the same apply it under a cream eye shadow or under macs paint pots, than you will get the result you want.

you know many cosmetics has a life of 3 mnths or 6 mnths but this has a life of 36 mnths

i have OBBD for cosmetics thats for sure :)) so it is like describing me :))


it tastes like mint, it is more like a between a lipstick and a lip-gloss, it is creamy but more like a solid liquid version. it tastes and looks delicious , the colour you see in the picture is a bit bold for me but who cares,


it is not easy to remove this lip tar, if you want to take of with some facial cleaning gels it is not gonna work properly the lip tar will be all over your face and lips,

it is a good thing it is not a long lasting one that stays 24 hrs but it is long lasting if we compare with the other lip tars in the market

it looks much bolder on lips that it looks in the tube

the colour can be described as deep dark fuchsia
