I have extremely oil skin, I use this mask to balance my skin.

You need apply this mask to your face avoiding the eye area,

I noticed it dries out very quickly on your skin,

I am not sure If I am the only but I had this tingly feeling but it had this feeling on my face when I applied.

It smells like usual Liz Earle Products.

My skin looked brighter ( it is almost like my skin is bleached couple of years ago I really had a dark tan and it got on my hairdressers nerves and she put the creamy ammonium comes out with hair colours, and it brightened up my face, I know it’s horrible but this technique is used by many people)

Liz Earle Mud Mask comes with 2 Sponges to clean the mask,

But I use their muslin cloth to remove the mud mask.

Mud has being used on skin care since ancient times, rumour has it Cleopatra owed her beauty to mud mask.

There is one thing that I have to mention, I did not notice any break outs / spots for the first few uses but when I used it few days ago I noticed some breakouts on my skin, I am not sure whether it is a result of the mask or if I have already had them.

 

 

 

I have been using Shiseido for long long time before I came across with Liz Earle’s Cleanse & Polish, as I have mentioned it on my previous posts,  I find quite successful, it is easy to use, you do need a face brush to clean your face, all you need is to apply it to your skin gently massage it into your skin and damp your muslin cloth with hot water, clean your face.

You can clean any makeup on your face. One bottle will last you forever even if you are heavy handed like me.

I like the way it melts into my skin, I sometimes do not even use the muslin cloth,  I gently massage it to my skin and I draw small circles with my finger tips, than I wash my skin.

Some of my readers mailed me and told me that this product dried their skin and suffering from redness on their face.

Sometimes face cleaning gel’s or similar products can cause this, especially if you have oily skin it cleans the oily parts of  your skin and it its normal to feel stretchy. But your skin gets back to normal soon.

I have oily skin and I used all kinds of skin care products either cosmetics or derma cosmetics, doctors, drugstore, high-street and one day I noticed my skin is completely turned into dry.

After that bad experience, I only used Shiseido and Liz Earle as a cleanser.

I am using Liz Earle for the past 6-7 months, and I am so glad that I find a nice product that goes on well with my skin .

I have been using Liz Earle Botanical Shampoo & Conditioner for nearly a month now, I postponed writing this review few times, to see if it is really working for my hair or is that me who is loves Liz Earle products is over exaggerating,

 

During the time I tried Liz Earle, I give one week break and tried some other shampoos waiting for me to use in my basket where I usually store all my hair & bath products.

 

My hair is very greasy, sometimes I do have to wash it two times a day, or I know the days i take my bath just before I go to bed and when I wake up, I find my hair greasy again which was driving me mad..

 

I am not lazy but I do hate washing my hair few times a day, so because of that reason I started to live with dry shampoos in my hand bags, on each of my hand bag you can definitely find a small size of dry shampoo.

 

Ever since I started to use Liz Earle Botanical Shampoo & Conditioner, My hair gets greasy yes it is impossible not to get dirty and greasy but

my hairs get dirty in 2 to 3 days, before using Liz Earle It used to get greasy in a day, which was very difficult to handle,  

 

I have used many other shampoos before Liz Earle, from Hair Saloon only brands to Natural Organic Brands, herbalist shampoos, home made shampoos, lots & lots big waste of money.

 

But finally I find something that will work with my hair.

 

First I used Liz Earle Botanical Shampoo with its matching conditioner with conditioner my hair gets greasy in 2 days, but without using the conditioner it lasts about three days.

 

One the first day I used Liz Earle Shampoo & Conditioner, I met my husband in town to go out for a drink and he just kept looking at my hair, he kept asking me what did I do to my hair? It looks shiny and volumed That is from am man’s point of view and my husband is not a type of a guy who normally notices small changed I made to my self.

I am so happy using Liz Earle Shampoo & Conditioner. I recommend to peole who have greasy hair like me.

I was very conservative on my skin care products, I was using few products from few brands, and I was not going out that regime, My that regime changed when I met Liz Earle Products.

 

I have tried many high street, drugstore or just unknown brands products for my feet care, but none of them really was as good as I expected, this scrub is easy to use, it does not make mess, I can even sleep with it…

 

I was unsure when I first received the product, oh How am I going to use the products, what if it leaves stains on my carpets as my house is fully carpeted and of course you need time to massage your feet, sit and  give your feet a rest.

 

So I decided to put some scrub on my feet, I gently massaged them,  stretched my legs and I was  having my morning tea, then  right at that moment, somebody rang the door bell.

I forgot about that I have scrub, and ran to the door, soon after I remember that I had foot scrub on my feet, just go to the bathroom washed my feet and checked the carpets, and NO STAINS 

 

I actually use this product in three different ways,

 

1- As it is suggested, I damp my feet, I wait a bit than gently wash them.

2- I apply the product to my feet  up to my my ankles, than I wear some old shopping bags and gently tie them than sit. ( I do not recommend this method if you are impatient, as  I am very impatient, when you have foot scrub and bags tied to your feet, It is not a good idea to forget about it and start to run around the house, especially when your makeup French Hubby sees you with bags rolled on your feet, poor guy will think what’s wrong honey, what’s up? Nothing Honey, I am just scrubbing my feet and giving them a rest)

 

3- Apply the foot scrub just before you go to bed, wear your woollen grandmother socks, and go to bed, do not take of your socks until you wake up the next day. You will see that your feet will be looking much better and soft.

 

I think Liz Earle’s foot scrub is the only one which moistens both your feet and hands.  My Hands feels soft after applying foot scrub to my feet.

 

This Scrub is also smells as nice as other Liz Earle Products. I can smell MINT very strongly and I am loving it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

With Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint

This is the new baby of Liz Earle, which will be in stores starting from September, If I am not wrong 15th of September, so you have less than a month left to buy this baby.

 

This is quite thick like a foundation, it has a coverage of light foundation, it comes in a squeezable tube.

It is 40 ml, which means it is bigger than MAC

It has the same coverage as face and body foundations.

I find it easy to blend with a makeup wedge, and duo fibre brush, therefore it is a bit difficult to blend it with Buffer Brushes.

I am a person who likes full coverage on the foundations, concealers, powders I use, but I would never think that I will love a skin tint, or light coverage foundation.

 

I used it few times,  On the first use, I just applied the skin tint and completed my look with blush and eye shadow.

 

On the pictures I take for this review I completed it with a MAC Mineral Skin Finish Powder

 

it is both ok whether you wear it alone or use it with a powder, it depends on how you like the coverage,

 

If you wear it alone without a powder it would last you depending on your skin type between 5-6 hours, with a powder it will last 8 hrs or more.

 

I fall a sleep while I was watching TV in the afternoon with my skin tint, when I woke up it was still the same as I wore it this was with a powder applied on top.

 

It also does not leave a shiny look on your face as most of the skin tints does.

Bare

Beige

Beach ( this is the one I am using)

 

I think 3 shades is not enough, I think there should be more shades.

 

I am using the darkest shade which is 3 Beach, but the darker ladies will be frustrated until Liz Earle produces more shades.

Sheer Skin Tint has been created to be compatible with all tones, whether yours is yellow or pink

Liz Earle just arrived to the makeup world and I think with this lovely products, she will be pioneering in the makeup sector.

 

It is good for light coverage foundation, skin tint fans, but I do not really like to apply powder over foundations, tints, I have quite a lot brown spots scattered on my face and body, so the only solution for me is a full coverage foundation, This definitely a good product for light coverage fans but it is not an ideal product for me to use it just like a foundation.  I like it and I use it with a powder than it looks fine.
